Welcome

Hi!

datadriven

Welcome to my personal webpage; a place for me to write down recipes (for food and for programming) and, I hope,  non-provocative thoughts. I love to travel, especially to experience different foods around the world (because I like to eat, but it’s also a great way to learn about different cultures).

When I am not eating, traveling, or writing computer programs, I enjoy being a physics professor at Queen’s University.  My research involves trying to understand little particles called “neutrinos”. They are  the most abundant particles in the universe. As you have been reading this page, several trillion of them went through your body without you even noticing! That is the same reason that they are very difficult to detect, requiring us to build large complicated experiments together with many other physicists.
